schools out. no more homework, tests or days spent inside a building
now he can enjoy his days doing what he likes to do – fishing, farming and anything "hands-on"
like fixing the four wheeler
life is good, huh eric?

was wonderful!!
lots of rest and relaxation. 3 books read and started a fourth. couple of magazines looked through. tons of fresh warm air. listened to lots of birds. investigated a few new towns and found some really cute decorating/antique shops.
and i took a few walks with my camera in tow. this is what i saw:
you really look at the world differently when you have a camera along for the ride. i could have walked all day.
now back to reality – laundry, bills, kind of dead flowers. then we're all headed back down next sunday. can't wait!!
have a wonderful sunday. i think i have my husband talked into going to the county flea market with me this afternoon. he must have missed me because that has never been on his "love to do" list. then we play golf tonight.
sunday was the PERFECT day for karlie, alec and randy's party – sunny and warm with a slight breeze.
we hung some of their jerseys and sports tshirts on a clothes line.
we think randy was the first to eat.
karlie and aunt nani (these pictures are courtesy of my sister – i knew i wouldn't be able to do that along with everything else – THANKS DEANNA!!)
the cooking area –
there were so many people. karlie was afraid it would be boring but having the 3 families combined made for lots of people to talk and mingle with.
lots of bags being played.
mitchell loved the tractor.
hitting some shag balls into the field – the graduate getting ready to show the boys how it's done.
jordyn and eric
thanks to all my friends for coming. it meant a lot to me and karlie to have you there. sorry i couldn't spend more time sitting down and visiting with you. you all are great and I LOVE YA!
at the end of the night (12:30pm when we shut it down – some of her close friends still hanging around playing bags), i asked kar if she thought it was a boring party – she smiled said no way.
so, it's all cleaned up and i am starting my few days of rest – i think i am heading to the cabin.
have a great week!!
