well the sun is shining here right now.  they say rain is heading our way.  that would be a bummer.  but we’ll make due.

i’ve got flowers to pick up this morning.  other than that, our day is quiet.  karlie is doing her own hair and nails and boys have nothing to do.

2 kids, 2 different proms – that can make for schedualing difficulties, but i think we have it all figured out:

• 3:00 – karlie’s pictures at her friend’s house
• 4:00 – her prom walk
• 5:00 – eric’s pictures – here i think
• 6:00 – eric’s prom walk (actually it’s his girlfriends prom in the next town over)

hopefully everything moves right along and there are no hold ups.

i will post photos later.

my blog friends chris and lesli started a new sketch blog for scrapbooking and cardmaking called PAGE PLANS.  it’s a great place to get ideas for your layouts.  they come up with sketches that are simple to do and oh so inspiring.  print some of them out and use them when you crop, they will help you get moving on your layouts. 

here’s one for ya:

i am a guest designer for the month of may!!!  i am so excited – have never done anything like this before.  i got my sketch plans the other day and they are awesome.  i finished my first weeks layout in no time.  they will reveal it on sunday – i think.  so make sure you check it out – PAGE PLANS.

better get my shower done then i need to head to the field – unless it rains first.

does any one do that tradition any more?  i can remember making cone shape baskets out of paper and filling them with candy and flowers as a kid.  around to the neighbors we would run and leave them on their doorknobs.  i am thinking they were left anonymously – am i right?  what a fun little tradition that i had forgotten all about. 

if i had time today i would think about doing this and placing them on the doorknobs of all my friends – near and far, but i don’t.

so enjoy the cyber flowers and pretend you have a red door and i have just rung your doorbell and run off.
