Pie*ography Thursday – a day late

Yes it’s Friday – Good Friday at that.

I am sorry I am a day late.

Seems to be the story of my life lately.

Oh well….

Pie will make it better.

Especially Always Changing Brownie Pretzel Pie from Christi Johnstone.

I loved this pie because of the sweet/salty combination.

Pie*ography Thursday

This is becoming one of my favorite blog days.

I love sharing these pies with you all.

But most of all I love remembering the days Anne Marie and I spent together working on this project.

The smells that I encountered every afternoon when I walked into Anne Marie’s kitchen.

The visual elements she had laid out already for the styling.

The joy we felt when what I captured with my camera was exactly what we had in mind.

We had so much fun!!

This week I am sharing Dreamy Chocolate Pecan Pie from Vickie Hutchins and Jo Ann Martin the wonderful ladies behind Gooseberry Patch.

The crust, the chocolate, the pecans….pure delight.

Combining that pie with the beautiful vintage serving pieces and the crusty old green crate….double pure delight.
