i am bummed.
three of my favorite magazines are closing shop.
i so look forward to these being in my mailbox every month. such great ideas and inspiration. i wonder what my subscriptions will be transfered to?
in an attempt to organize and get rid of some of the clutter in my home this year, i have listed some of my books on http://www.amazon.com/shops/trixisbookshelf. i just did this on monday and i have already sold 6 books.

ok, anyone watch Private Practice last night? i really enjoy that show. love violet! love cooper! love the new little geeky doctor from the other floor! i even like charlotte more and more with each episode! but addison really drives me crazy. i think it’s her holier than thou attitude that really turns me off. they could get rid of her and i would be fine with that. i didn’t even like her on greys. just sayin’.
well, better get to the post office and get some books mailed off. i also need to go upstairs and oversee the jewelry pieces that my daughter thinks she is taking with her to college.

Just popped over from Suzanne’s Pink Roses blog and so glad I came to visit because I had no idea that Country Home was ending! I had just received a notice today that Cottage Living was (it said I’d be receiving Southern Living in its place), but now 2 of my favorites are gone! I also am getting quite addicted to Private Practice. Amy B. (i.e. Violet) is just beautiful. I kept looking at her hair last night and wishing I could get mine to look like that!!!
So many magazines are closing shop. I even think that I got two out of the three for Christmas this year. Magazines are one of my favorite things.

Great idea for selling your books!! We always read so many, which translates into having SO MANY. It’s hard to part with them, but probably a good idea, for at least a few.
